About the Session

The photoshoot will take place at my at-home studio or, if requested in advance, at the agreed upon location site. I recommend arriving to the location site at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, this will ensure that we have enough time to prepare! Having experienced many children photoshoots, it is always wise to have a bit of extra time allotted so that the child can relax and prepare for the event. This way all parties can ease into the photoshoot in a calm and carefree manner!

The photoshoot’s length is dependent upon the theme. Although, the average length of a photoshoot usually runs on an average of 1-3 hours. I guarantee you the timing is enough to capture a bunch of magnificent moments! I can’t wait!

After the photoshoot, you will get the chance to choose your favorite photos from a selection of the best captured images. I will edit each photo individually and then schedule a meeting with you so that you can pick your favorites. You will have the option to choose for one of the three package options or, if preferred, all of them. I will send you a link to an online album where you can choose and download your photos.

Furthermore, at this meeting you will have the chance to order your quality printed pictures, photo book and all other printed options. You can find more information about this in the "Printouts and Wall Decor"  page under my main menu.

Locations

With the exception of newborn photoshoots, any type of set location outside of the studio is a possibility. For newborn photoshoots, for the safety of the baby, all sessions will be held in the studio. This way we are able to care for the baby and have a calm atmosphere around the session.

My recommended outdoor shoot locations are Bat Yam beach and Midro Yaffo Park. However, any outdoor scenic location can be considered a possibility. The sky is the limit!

What should I wear?

Great that you asked this question! Clothes are an important part of the photoshoot. Everything looks much nicer when your clothes and outfits are harmonious with each other and if you thoughtfully piece them together. Jeans and a white t-shirt are a great combination, but there are also many other simple yet memorable clothing options you can choose from.

Basically, anything bright and/or neutral will have a better contrast than a heavier or darker color. Of course, if we are working in the studio with professional lighting, the bright colors can also be a great option. However, it is worth talking about the concept of the shoot with me beforehand.

During the winter we are more prone to wearing darker colors, although even then I recommend you wear lighter colors for the shoot. You always have the option to mix and match with both lighter colors and darker colors in one outfit. Choosing a brighter color palette, integrating more neutral tones and adding some colored accessories such as a scarf, hat or even glasses can elevate the theme of the shoot. With the exception of family photos, not everyone needs to match with the colors that they are wearing- it’s enough if the colors are repeated once or twice. Make sure to keep in mind whether you feel more comfortable in shoes or barefoot for your photo shoot. A useful tip I do in order to help plan an outfit in advance is by placing them in front of me and eyeballing how the outfits look together.

I wish you tons of success with your outfit preparations! If there is anything that seems unclear, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am always more than happy to help and provide inspiration for your outfit decisions.
